In the silence of the extractor fan
sitting atop a toilet seat, cold
in the suckling breeze and cold
sharp smoothing of the toilet seat
buttocks pressed to cloth
presses to the toilet seat, care
alleviates the cold of the seat
roughens the smooth, quiets
the mind from the cold as the breeze unfolds as my hair roughens the imaginary fold
between soft air, hard cold, and the
draught at my neck sighs
a whisper to my corpuscles
and nervously, alighting
into the night and associated
cold.
