What do you do
When you don't smoke
Don't drink much
Don't cope much
.... so eat.

You get fat,
Arms brush a giving ripple in flesh
Your side, increases until -
You're a liar
To others, yourself ...

And so it goes on,
Whatever the cause, the coping is worse
And as more gets cast your way
Something, your back? ... must give.

Live life to the full,
But when its brimming with expectations
How full of mire can it be
Before clogging to fat turgidity?

You become the problem -
Makes all the others seem small
Compared to your floppering frame
But heck, be resigned, in shame -
Say inwards: "Walk wide, not tall."
