What Am I?

I live my life
All crinkly and green
I am given at honour
And destruction, it seems - as
I cause great death
From man's own greed,
And all his wrath -
But he does not need.
At the end of my life
I have caused trouble and strife,
But my life has turned
And I am now burned.
