In this big wide world of ours, we rarely bother to even attempt a glance at other entities. Most of us are blinded by Western societys beauracratic system and the attitude of selfishness committed by almost all. People wish to hoard their ideas until they can reap fame and fortune from them. You could argue that this is only natural - we want to make our lives worthwhile, so that existence is forced with a physical meaning.

I’m probably not the world’s greatest journal writer, but this really does call for writing. It is a historical bag of facts, but should hopefully warn others about the kind of people I met. If found in time, it could also warn you of the future - the future being the year 2173. In 2173, you should find a group of, of neanderthals! Youll find them at base 3229.

In this undernourished dry plain Of this Ethiopian Land, I have no food, nor water: Just a cup filled up with sand. I wish no more than living, As I'm a typical Ethiopian boy. Just a little grain to fill my cup; To fill my heart with joy. My friends all die around me, And I will share their doom If my sand-filled cup of life Is not filled with water soon. Simon Huggins, 1984 (aged 12)
Enter in the loving men Enter in me Enter in the devil-man Enter in the sea. Devil-man casts spells on us, Throws water from the sea Loving-man throws lightening bolts Of pure white loving me! Whizzing through the air I go Plonk! I hit the sea. Devil gets an evil fork, And thrusts it into me. Burning, searing fork of death Scolding me soul and now- The scolding fork of death doth part And I must make a vow: If the vow I now do keep My soul shall e'er rest here. If I do not vow this trust My sould shall slowly sear. (I vow). Simon Huggins, 1984 (aged 12)*
People lying In terrible shapes Faces squirmed With collapsed face Squashed and crushed From panic come It's now all over- The brightest sun The warm snow falls On the groaning corpses Dead sheep and dogs Dead birds, cats and horses. The dead lay curled In unforgettable shapes, As if the sun was hurled In Hiroshima's face. Simon Huggins, 1984 (aged 12)*
**intro.** Slowly drifting Into crevice and crack Into the garden green Into the garden back Into every crack Icy fingers crack The frozen lips Frozen down to tips of toes... Slowly crawling Into crevice and crack Your old trodden footsteps Turning back Into lightly-packed snow The sky turns grey The crystal grains glow The glittering snow lays. It slowly crawls Into crevice and crack The city lies silent, The sky turns black. Well... nearly black- Just a little black-grey But the city's in shadow From morning, to late-day. - Simon Huggins, 1984 (aged 12)
I live my life All crinkly and green I am given at honour And destruction, it seems - as I cause great death From man's own greed, And all his wrath - But he does not need. At the end of my life I have caused trouble and strife, But my life has turned And I am now burned. Simon Huggins, 1982 (approx aged 11) Answer: Money
I Had A Piece of Blue Card I Hit it Very Hard I Do Not Know Why But It Started to Cry And that is the end of my poem Bye Bye! Simon Huggins, 1980 (approx aged 8)
